Rekha in Vijeta
Rekha looked so elegant and sounded so polished in Vijeta (1982). A calm and serene performance with such inner depth.
Kalyug, Vijeta and Utsav, Rekhas was in all three films produced by Shashi Kapoor, under the banner Film-Valas. In the questionable era of the 1980s, in all three wonderful films, Rekha's performances are spot on. An underrated actor of her times - her glamour, rumours about her scandalous personal life always took precedent in media over her vast capabilities and talent.
