Be it Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, Umrao Jaan, Hum Kisise Kam Nahin, Mistress of Spices or Jeans, she's looked staggeringly beautiful in essentially awful films. The learning curve for the model turned superstar has been a bumpy road.

Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan in Hum Kisise Kam Nahin.

This was shot just after Devdas and after her completely classic Indian look, she worked a modern persona for this rather God-awful film. Goes without saying she did look brilliant though.
