There's a perfection to Rekha's entire head to toe look in the movie that's never been replicated. Even by herself. Along with fame and superstardom, sadly, Re' lost her sense of understated style. By the time she reached her zenith of Khoon Bhari Maang or the nadir of Madame X, she'd lost the plot when it came to makeup, fashion, turbans, gloss... Like her successor Aishwarya Rai, the less Rekha did, the better she looked. But surrounded by enablers and yes-men (well, women), no one edited Rekha. Except for Yash Chopra - which is probably why looked best in his films.
