Though the film recovered its cost and budget, the movie under performed considering the size of the cast. Aishwarya Rai looked dreamier than ever before - experimenting with her style and wardrobe. Sunjay Dutt as a writer was miscast. Zayed Khan - always in the list of Top Ten Worst Bollywood actors of all time - tying with Fardeen Khan) as a professor was a joke from the get-go.
